About the project:

FMP for year 2, Fifteen Steps.

This investigation I have been looking into the theory of drift and exploring Psychogeography, Joseph Hart defines Psychogeography as “a whole toy box full of playful, inventive strategies for exploring cities... just about anything that takes pedestrians off their predictable paths and jolts them into a new awareness of the urban landscape.
I have gathered information from 3 different places; Winton, Taghazout and Krakow. I have explored the commonality and difference by looking into the population and convention of the area. I took notice of images, sounds, and shapes and photographed the points of interest. This provided me with a lot of primary research and a fair amount of visual content. I designed 3 publications that visually shows information of the place of interest. I have printed the Taghazout and Krakow edition professionally and sourced a relevant printer in Poole. This Investigation is now to be moved into interactive and digital format. The use of an Ipad would allow the user to download the app and make their own journey. After every 15 steps you would take a photo and the satellite GPS would note the route taken. This would then be stored onto the Ipad and viewed by flicking through the journey or it could then be sent to a printers in PDF format and people could the print their route and have the visuals as pieces of art.

I have 5 copies of each location. If you would like to purchase a copy please get in contact.

About the project:

This was a poster design for the night 'Saturday Sessions' at the club Ministry of Sound. This was a group project with a team of 4 designers: Joshua Ogden, Luke Patton, Nicky Clark and Tom Berne.
Using multiple layers (x7) the poster creates a distinctive 3D effect that would create impact for viewers outside of the club. The poster has been designed to have a music speaker behind it to vibrate with the sound and look like a speaker. Please view the video above or here.

Create a system for the rebranding of at least six of Martin Amis titles. The titles should work as a coherent set; this will be achieved through the design and implementation of a system that will guide the design choices across the range. This system should dictate the properties that stay consistent across the covers; therefore consider areas such as: grid, colour, typographic styles and typographic families, imagery, dimensions and materials. Above all else the design should be sympathetic to the author and appropriate to the audience. I had to design: Proposals for a series of six covers and a maquette for two titles, either as a hardback or paperback.
